Chamberlain’s has been a "D-Best" in D Magazine since 1998 and in February 2001 they were rated the No. 2 of 16 steak houses in the Dallas area.
In 1998, Gourmet Magazine rated them "One of America’s Top Tables" and in 1999 and 2000, Zagat published them as one of "America’s Top Restaurants".
In February of 1997, Texas Monthly named Chamberlain’s one of the "Top 10 Steakhouses" in the state and "Best Steakhouse for Epicures". They were re-reviewed in 2000 proclaiming "our revisit was long overdue" and "our steak was delivered perfectly, as ordered, and it was the best jumbo shrimp we have ever eaten".
The restaurant’s first local review was by the Dallas Morning News, which proclaimed them a "Four Star Steak House and was re-reviewed in October 2002 with the same four star status. This is in addition to being rated a "Four Star Steakhouse" by The Dallas Observer.
Shortly after opening, Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House was named one of the countries top new restaurants of 1993 by Bon Appetit magazine.
